Ingredients:
4 cubed steaks
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening, optional)
Directions:
In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Dredge each cubed steak in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the cubed steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Stir to combine, and bring to a simmer.
Return the cubed steaks to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.
Simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
If desired, add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce reaches your desired thickness.
Serve the cubed steaks with the sauce spooned over them.
Pair with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
