2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup chopped apples (peeled or unpeeled)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, applesauce, and honey or maple syrup until well combined.
Add oats, chopped apples, chopped nuts (if using), cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
