Death by Chocolate Bundt Cake
Decadent Chocolate Overload Bundt Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Stir in hot water until the batter is smooth. Fold in semi-sweet and dark chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, spreading evenly.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
