Ingredients:
1 pound crab meat
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 cup white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, white wine, and milk, and bring to a simmer. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly.
Add the heavy cream, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Add the crab meat and shrimp to the pot.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp is cooked through and the crab meat is heated.
Stir in lemon juice and adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
