Creamy Cajun Alfredo with Shrimp and Steak
Ingredients:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
8 oz ribeye steak, sliced thin
8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook fettuccine according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
Season steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter.
Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to combine with the pasta.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
