Loaded Philly Steak Cheese Fries

Ingredients:

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella cheese)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Toss the potato fries in olive oil and spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.

While the fries are baking, heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beef sirloin and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms.

Cook until the vegetables are tender and caramelized, about 8 minutes.

Add the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables.

Remove from heat.

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the fries.

Return the fries to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Top the cheesy fries with the Philly steak and vegetable mixture. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
