Tender & Juicy Oven Baked BBQ Ribs
Ingredients:
2 racks of baby back ribs
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil, sealing the edges to create a packet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
In a small saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
Brush the ribs generously with the BBQ sauce mixture.
Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
