Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bars to cool in the dish before slicing into squares and serving.
